IOKONE's solution helps AMAP implement a new ride-hailing model
Nowaday, with the rapid development of the ride-hailing market, the industry’s pain points are also emerging, including the lack of protection of drivers’ rights, passenger safety issues, regulatory challenges in different regions, fierce market competition, and uneven service quality, etc.
In order to solve the existing pain points, IOKONE cooperated with AMAP and pioneered the solution of receiving online booking orders through the in-vehicle terminals of cruise taxis, realizing the dual-track “cruise + online booking” mode.

Front end: intelligent vehicle terminal
The vehicle terminal adopts AutoChips AC8259 octagonal processor and provides serial port, IO and other peripheral interfaces, which can realize multi-channel real-time surveillance video, driving behavior monitoring, driver face recognition and other functions to promote real-time guidance and safe driving of drivers.
In addition, the terminal supports the connection of a range of terminal extension devices, including AI dashcam, DMS camera, ADAS camera, CANBUS and other devices. These devices, combined with AI intelligent on-board terminals, have significantly improved the operational efficiency and safety of taxis.

Back end:Management platform and mobile app
The vehicle monitoring, real-time positioning, visual charts and other functions of the operation management platform are transplanted to the mobile terminal, so that managers can get rid of the constraints of time and space, improve work efficiency, and strengthen remote collaboration.
After implementing the “Cruise + online appointment” model solution, the new operational path for the online ride-hailing industry has opened up, benefiting both drivers and passengers.
